Government Contract Award Lookup

Find out who won a government contract, what it paid, and which agency awarded it. Sam searches the official USAspending.gov award records — by company, keyword, NAICS code, or agency — so you can scope a recompete before you bid. No login, real data.

Sam, your guide

Why look up past awards?

Before you chase a contract, it pays to know who held it last and what it was worth. The federal government publishes every contract award on USAspending.gov — the official source of federal spending data. This tool searches those records live and shows the results in plain English. Nothing here is estimated or invented; every figure comes straight from the government.

Who won it
Every federal contract is public record. Search by company to see what a competitor has won, or by keyword to see who is already doing the work you want to bid on.
What it paid
Each result shows the award amount straight from USAspending.gov — the government's own system of record — so you can size up a recompete before you spend time on the proposal.
When it recompetes
A contract that was awarded years ago is often up for renewal soon. Knowing the incumbent and the agency is the first step to getting in early on the next round.

Search past awards

Results show contracts performed in Texas by default. Enter a company, keyword, NAICS code, or agency and Sam will pull the matching awards.

Search a competitor's name, or what the work is — e.g. “janitorial”, “HVAC”, or “Fort Bliss”.

Use the agency's full name, e.g. “Department of Veterans Affairs” or “General Services Administration”.

Enter a company, keyword, NAICS code, or agency to search.
