Sam's plain-English summary
This is a government bid to repair an air conditioning system on a roof for a federal agency. You have until August 6, 2026 at 9 PM Eastern time to submit your bid—this is a normal timeline, not rushed. The solicitation doesn't specify bonding or insurance requirements in the details provided, so you'll need to check the full solicitation document to confirm if either is needed. Government bids like this commonly get rejected because bidders fail to follow formatting instructions exactly, miss the deadline, don't have required licenses or certifications, provide incomplete pricing information, or lack experience in similar work. Make sure to read all requirements carefully and submit everything on time.
This bid is reserved — Small Business set-aside
Reserved for small businesses — only firms under the SBA size standard for this work can bid; large companies are excluded.
If you meet that requirement, this could be a fit if: You are an HVAC contractor or roofing company that performs commercial air conditioning repair and maintenance work, have proper licensing for your state/locality, can document relevant experience on similar projects, and have the capacity to complete the work within the government's timeline.
